Cross Training & Kicking Back

On my training schedule today, 50 minutes of cross training.
No sweat!
Ha!
A boat load of sweat!
This was midway through the workout.
And guess who showed up?
Yup...my tris!
Gotta love that especially since I haven't lifted since Thursday!
Workout complete. A little redder and a little sweatier.
I had Niagara Falls rolling off my chin...
Ha!
Tomorrow is long run day and I am wanting and needing to run SO bad.
It is supposed to be cold and windy...of course!

No worries!
This is commitment. This is for me.

I have a lot going on in my life right now. I lot of decisions to make. My workouts help me cope with that and I DID take a full rest day yesterday!

On a frustrating side note, my body has decided that my protein powders are the enemy. I can't do dairy for some undetermined reason, that's been a number of years now. Somehow I've been able to sneak whey protein in without a problem. Well, the gig is up...
{Sigh}
Oh, and the sneaky attempts at small bits of frankensweeteners has been found out, as well.    
Clean eating has been a saving grace with my high maintenance stomach and digestive system. Time to tighten things up! You continue to live and learn, right?

My friends, the turkey is in the oven, the chores and workout are done.
Time to kick back and enjoy the day!

If anyone has some stevia sweetened, no dairy or egg white protein powders that actually taste good...PLEASE! Let me know!

  1. Sorry about the protein powder! Have you checked with a local supplement store to see if they have any suggestions for you? Have you tried Vega protein powder?

  2. I just ordered brand #3 of protein powders :(
    So many of them are chalky and weird. Yuck!
